This Unlimited Solar U-MO-100 Universal Flat Roof Mounting Kit consists 4 x  brackets and all hardware to mount any size solar panel to just about any flat surface such as, Residential or Commercial Installations, RV's, Caravans, Boats plus small structures such as sheds and garages. Made from rust free aluminum with stainless steel hardware.

Installation Instructions

Step 1. Attach the PV module to the mounting feet using the nuts, bolts, washers, and lock washers provided. See drawing for suggested configuration.

CAUTION: If additional holes on the frame of the PV module are needed, great care must be used when drilling, Damage to the module can easily occur rendering it useless. You may find it helpful to lubricate the nut and bolt to facilitate easy removal at a later date.

Step 2. Securely attached the mounting feet to any flat surface using the M8 bolt, washer, lock washer, and nut provided. ( see drawing for suggested configuration ) If attaching to a surface where the nut can not be used, a suitable wood or sheet metal screw may be used instead. Depending a wind load, an anchor or molly bolt may be necessary.

Step 3. Seal all mounting holes with a waterproof sealant to prevent water penetration. Sealant should be compatible with the surface being mounted to.

Note: For mobile installations or where vibration is possible, always use the lock washers provided and/or other locking nut/bolt combination.

When using longer PV modules, additional mounting brackets may be needed to support the PV module correctly.

Step 1: Measure the width of the PV module shown in dimension A above.

Step 2: Space mounting brackets along the length of the PV module ( dimension B ) using the measurement made in step 1 above.
